An agent here is not an assistant that answers questions. It holds a function, carries an authority matrix covering what it may create, read, update and delete, and escalates to a person when judgement is needed.
Authority should be explicit. Every agent runs inside limits a person sets, delegation only flows downward, and escalation always ends at a human.
Work should be auditable. Every action, handoff and decision is written once and kept, so an unexpected outcome traces to the step that caused it.
Cost should be legible. Agent work is metered at the model vendor's published rate with nothing added by us, against caps you control.
